APOSTLE OF NON-VIOLENCE

Mahatma Gandhi, for India and throughout the World even, is widely known as “Ahimsa’s torch bearer”. His dedication to make India free from the clutch of  Britishers without using violence is unique in its own nature. This also impressed a lot of foreign leaders like Martin Luther king (Junior), Nelson Mandela and Barrack Obama. They  used to follow  gandhian principles and non-violence. More-ever in independent India, Gandhi became a history in social sphere and known as ‘Father of the Nation’. His approach towards the people of his motherland starting from Kashmir to Kanyakumari based over non-violence only. In 1921, March 23rd  Mahatma  Gandhi  for the first time came to Odisha. Before 48 hours, Chief Minister Naveen Pattanaik  with all MLAs observed this auspicious occasion to re-remember and  follow historic steps of Bapujee. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is more an Institution than a citizen  of  Gujurat’s Porabandar whose main weapon to fight with British Government  is non-violence, truth and self confidence.
