Shillong, Troopers of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) exchanged sweets on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha (Bakrid) on Saturday while adhering to the protocol of covid-19 taking all precautionary measures, an official said. Inspector General of BSF, Meghalaya frontier, Kuldeep Saini, while conveying best wishes and greetings to BGB said, “BSF and BGB while guarding the International border are also setting up an unprecedented example of deep friendship between them and acting as an ambassador of their respective countries.” Saini also wished best of health and happiness to the people of Meghalaya on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha. Deputy Inspector General of BSF, U.K.Nayal said in the present scenario of COVID-19 and floods in the Border area, both border guarding forces are tackling smuggling and other trans-border crimes with excellent coordination and trust among them.
