Srinagar, A CRPF officer sustained injuries after he attempted to shot himself here in the summer capital, Srinagar, official sources said on Wednesday.”A CRPF Inspector identified as M Damodar allegedly shot himself with his service rifle and was rushed to the hospital where his condition was stated to be stable,” they said.They said it was not immediately clear why he took this extreme step, adding that a case has been registered and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the circumstances.
