Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken serious note on the murder of former Baghpat district president Sanjay Kokhar here on early Tuesday morning.CM has asked the officials to nab the culprits within 24 hours.However State DGP H K Awasthi said that the incharge inspector of Chaprauli police station has been put under suspension.He said senior police officials were on the spot and investigating the matter.The DGP said five police teams have been set up to nab the criminals.Police here said that the criminals pumped two bullets in the body of the BJP leader Sanjay Kokhar during his routine morning walk on Tilwara road in Chaprauli police station area.Police said that preliminary report said that there were three criminals, who were involved in the crime. The BJP leader died in the spot.CM Yogi Adityanath while condoling the death of the BJP leader has asked the officials to nab the culprits within 24 hours and ensure strict action against them .The deceased was a teacher in a junior high school in Kakorkala village. He was the district president of BJP when the party came to power in the state 2017.A close associate of union minister Sanjeev Baliyan, state cane development minister Suresh Rana and BJP state president Swantra Deo Singh, the deceased BJP leader supporters were irked over the killing.Superintendent of police (SP) Ajay Kumar Singh said that prima facie probe reveal that the killing was related to personal enemity.He said criminals shot two bullets, one hit the head and another in the body of the BJP leader.The SP along with IG Praveen Kumar, who also rushed to the spot said the criminals would be nabbed very soon.
