The state capital Bhubaneswar, for the first time came across a big explosion at the Rajbhawan Square petrol pump’s CNG centre, where two wheelers, three wheelers & four wheelers were in queue. All of a sudden, in the mid day this CNG tank busted in such a manner according to print media, the sound heard up to 10 kms. Nobody knows yet whether people died or not. Around 30 persons injured out of which two were precarious for which they were being treated at SCB medical where 1 died too. At present, police & scientific team are enquiring death & injured numbers. On the other hand, this accident is now talk of the town as the way it exploded & in the place it has been occurred is much more important. Of course IOCL technical experts all ready enquired & told that this happened due to gas leakage. A big question now creeps up, whether this kind of explosion would be repeated & place like Governor House, CM quarter, Capital Hospital, Bus stand & Railway station will be free from this CNG gas & petrol pump further.
