Mumbai: Minister for Minorities and national spokesman of NCP, Nawab Malik on Saturday accused the Modi government has failed to deal with Corona situation and became helpless.
In a statement, Mr Malik stated that above 4 lakh corona positive patients are being found in the country every day. Even, the high court and supreme court have made the Center aware of its responsibility by issuing orders regarding the Corona situation.
He further said it was a fact that states are not given oxygen.
In the last couple of days, the state has not been able to get the quota of 50 tanks, which comes from the Karnataka plant.
Mr Malik also said that even after giving stock of Remedesivir, it could not be delivered on time.
The vaccination program has stalled. There are four and a half lakh people who have taken the first dose.
The dose cannot be given when they are eligible for the second dose as there was no vaccine from the companies for the program decided by the state government.
He further criticised, saying the Modi government was only playing the role of making speeches and announcements and wasting time.
We don’t get oxygen, we don’t get a timely supply of Remedisivir, now we can’t give a second dose to four and a half lakh people, it added.
