PANDEMIC AND BIHAR ELECTION

Pandemic Cov-19 is still there throughout the world and nowhere the human race feels safe. India is no exception to it. Rather to say, the last country to suffer the pandemic that is our motherland India has been crossed the list of corona acquiring second position. Till today, daily around 90thousand above are being identified Cov positive. Inspite of that,to keep the norm of democracy and it’s vital part election, the Chief election commissioner of India Mr.Sunil Arora declared today that Bihar Assembly election would be held in due date. But for the first time his declaration clearly indicates that this will be a record in holding election within pandemic.Election to Bihar Assembly is essential before November for which Mr.Arora declared election date including a series of steps. The most important point he declared that the assembly election will be held in three phases starting from 28th October upto 7th November. And the result would be declared on 10th November. The CEC particularly emphasized that voters suffering from Cov-positive can vote. Additionally 7 lakh sanitizer, 6 lakh PPE Kit and 46 lakh Mask will be used.The most important factors is that all candidates can file their nomination only through online and propaganda will be done in virtual platform.The minimum distance norm is to be carried out. Certainly this would be a chapter of history in a democratic country like India.
