President to reach Lucknow today for his two-day visit

Lucknow: President Ramnath Kovind will reach Lucknow on his two-day visit by the Presidential express train from Kanpur just after noon on Monday.
Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with several ministers and senior state officials will welcome the President at the platform number one of Charbagh railway station.
The President will go directly to Rajbhawan from Charbagh railway station where he has his programme scheduled for the entire day.
Officials here said that President will attend a high tea programme at the Rajbhawan in the evening where Chief Justice of India (CJI) N V Ramana and acting Chief Justice of Allahabad high court Munishwar Nath Bhandari along with other HC judges and dignitaries would also be there.
After night stay in Rajbhawan, President Ramnath Kovind on Tuesday will return back to Delhi after laying the foundation stone of the proposed Ambedkar Centre in Lucknow at around 1130 hours.
The President was in Kanpur for the past three days after reaching there by Presidential Express train on June 25 night.
He visited his ancestral Paraunkh village in Kanpur Dehat district on Sunday.
Meanwhile, security has been tightened at the Charbagh station and at other places from where the President’s convey will pass in the state capital on Monday.
