New Delhi: Immediately after Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that Ram is ‘Maryada Purushottam’ and he never appears with hatred and cruelty.In a tweet in Hindi, Mr Gandhi said, ” ‘Maryada Purushottam’ Lord Rama is the manifestation of the best human qualities. They are the core of humanity in the depths of our mind. Ram is love, he can never appear in disgustRam is compassion, he can never appear cruel.Ram is justice, he can never appear in injustice. ”Earlier, other Congress leaders greeted the people ahead of the ”bhoomi pujan” of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.In a tweet in Hindi, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Anand Sharma said, ”Construction of a grand temple on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi was the wish of every Ayodhya resident and crores of Lord Ram devotees across the world for a long time. Today this wish is fulfilled. My best wishes to all Ayodhya residents and Ram devotees.”AICC media in-charge Randeep Surjewala said, ”Best wishes on the occasion of the Ram temple ‘bhoomi pujan’.
