New Delhi, Goa governor Satya Pal Malik was on Tuesday transferred as Governor of Meghalaya while Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari Was given additional charge of the Governor of Goa .According to a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique on Tuesday said “the President of India is pleased to make the following
appointment/transfer.”Goa governor Satya Pal Malik has been appointed as Governor of Meghalaya while Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has been asked to discharge the functions of the Governor of Goa in addition to his own duties. ”According to the communique, “the appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices.”
