Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 tally today further surged to 3,36,262 after 88 new infections were detected in the state in last 24 hours.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 18 districts, 51 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 37 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Sundargarh recorded highest 27 fresh cases followed by Bargarh (10) and Puri (9).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 744 and recovered cases at 3,33,554.
