In a vast country like India, being thickly populated was became independent , since 7 decades. After all, democracy suits well with many parties in India’s environment. Congress party was formed before 1947 when India was under colonial rule. After independence it is congress party to rule & was in power for decades together. In the last part of 20th & first part of 21st century many regional parties came to the fore front & acquired power even. States like UP, Tamil Nadu, WB & Odisha was with many regional parties in many a times to rule the state. Still congress leads the show till the party led by Indira Gandhi imposed emergency in 1975. It continued till 1977 & after lifting of emergency Janata Party formed & won the election when the octogenarian leader Morarji Ranchhodji Desai became the PM. After him Choudhury Charan Singh though became the PM was unable to sustain a parliamentary majority with the resurgence of Mrs Gandhi again with new congress(I) party & won the general election of 1980. After that history of democracy in India took many a turns & many PM were there like Rajiv Gandhi, VP Singh, PV Narasimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, H.D Deve Gowda, Inder Kumar Gujral, Manmohan Singh & Narenda Damodar Das Modi too. With the leadership of Congress Manmohan ruled for a decade & again in 2014 BJP acquired the power with the leadership of Modi. Since 7years it has been felt that Congress has been weakened & core leaders were being disenchanted with party leaders. A senior party leader called a meeting in Jammu where around 20 congress leaders actively participated & expressed their dissatisfaction against party leader indirectly. Being the oldest party of the country, Congress has its influence throughout India which can be revived only through party chiefs analysis of different activity of senior leaders; also to use it for the betterment of the country at large.
