Rangareddy: A 25-year-old Constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree at Tirumaladevuni Gutta village of Yacharam Mandal in this district on Tuesday.
Police said, the Constable, identified as Mallikarjuna Saidulu, was working in Marrigudem Police Station and residing in the same area along with his wife.
Saidulu, a native of Khanapur village of Dindi Mandal in Nalgonda district, got married in November 2020.
The Constable who quarelled with his wife on a petty issue left from the house on Monday evening and hanged himself from the tree.
On information from the local people, Police reached the spot and sent the body of Saidulu to the local Area hospital for post-mortem.
