Thiruvananthapuram: Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala has congratulated Pinarayi Vijayan who will be sworn-in as Chief Minister for second time this afternoon.Mr Chennithala contacted Mr Vijayan over phone and congratulated him over the formation of the new LDF Government led by him.”Wish the new LDF Government fulfil the aspirations of the people,” he said, adding that the UDF will continue to stand for the cause of people and will function as a constructive opposition.He said the Opposition was not boycotting the swearing-in ceremony but cooperating with COVID protocol by watching the ceremony online with ordinary people.It may be noted that the Congress High Command is yet to take a decision on the Opposition leader post due to groupism in the party’s state unit.
