Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred more than a dozen IAS officers.
New District Magistrates (DMs) have been posted in six districts. Apart from these, some commissioners have also been changed.
Officials here on Friday said Moradabad DM Rakesh Kumar Singh has been sent to Ghaziabad in the same capacity. Vice Chairman Prayagraj Development Authority Ankit Kumar Agarwal will now be the new DM of Etah. Special Secretary Panchayati Raj Balkrishna Tripathi has been made the DM of Amroha while Mr Shailendra Kumar Singh, District Magistrate of Lakhimpur Kheri, will now look after Moradabad.
Additional Director Child Development and Nutrition Arvind Kumar Chaurasia has been made District Magistrate of Lakhimpur Kheri while Amroha DM Umesh Mishra has been made DM of Bijnore.
Ghaziabad DM Ajay Shankar Pandey has been made the commissioner of Jhansi division while Secretary Tourism and Culture Ravi Kumar NG will now be the Commissioner of Gorakhpur Division.
Gorakhpur divisional commissioner Jayant Narlikar had come on inter-state deputation. His term of deputation is coming to an end.
NG Ravi Kumar, who served as District Magistrate for about two-and-a-half years in Gorakhpur, has now been again posted as Commissioner in Gorakhpur.
Ms Vibha Chahal DM Etah and DM Lakhimpur Kheri Arvind Chaurasia, both have been made Additional director ICDS.
Additional Chief Secretary Horticulture and Food Processing Manoj Singh has been sent to the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change while Principal Secretary Rural Development K. Ravindra Nayak has been given the responsibility of Social Welfare and Minority Welfare Departments. Principal Secretary Environment, Forest and Climate Change Sudhir Garg has been sent to the Department of Milk Development. Additional Chief Secretary MVS Rami Reddy has been posted in the Horticulture and Food Processing Department. Principal Secretary Social Welfare and Minorities Welfare BL Meena has been given the responsibility of Cooperative Department. NG Ravi Kumar has become the Divisional Commissioner of Gorakhpur. Mukesh Meshram has also been given the charge of DG Tourism.
Mr Subhash Chand Sharma, Divisional Commissioner Jhansi, has been named Principal Secretary Higher Education.
