Pandemic Covid-19 in Odisha is at present, spreading throughout the state without leaving any single district. In Ganjam Positive rate is high like anything. Even the death rate in comparison to other 29 Districts is very high.Within a short span it may cross 1 hundred. Also next to Ganjam is Khurdha followed by Cuttack. Since few days Covid-19 positive number is increasing. The total positive number by 29thjuly crossed 29 thousand. Also, the death number in the state reached 159.Though around 18 thousand people are cured, still 10,920 positives are in the hospital.Starting from MLA to Sarpancha and Police staff, doctors are not free from the clutch of Corona. Luckily with the positive result of Plasama Treatment at SCB Hospital,the state government is now encouraging Plasma Bank.On Tuesday this has been opened at Capital Hospital whereas on Wednesday also at Rourkela’s IGH Hospital. Chief Minister Mr.Naveen Pattnaik assured that in the coming week at Berhampur’s MKCG & at Sambalpur’s VIMSAR two plasma bank will be opened.Those Corona affected people being cured are donating blood to collect plasma which will act as a deterrent in case of Covid Positive.Undoubtedly, this is a blessing in disguise and thanks to CM for his persistent action to open more plasma banks which will make the burden of epidemic lesser.
