Aurangabad, At least 1015 fresh COVID-19 cases highest so far were reported across the eight districts of Marathwada region in last 24 hours.While 21 fatalities were also reported in the eight districts till late Wednesday late night. With this, the total number of fatalities reached 977 in these districts, while COVID-19 tally in the region mounted to 27,899.On a positive front 17930 patients were cured and discharged. Rest of the active cases are undergoing treatment at different hospitals and Covid care centres in the region.The official data collected from all the district headquarters by UNI stated that Aurangabad district recorded highest 341 positive cases and seven fatalities, followed by 1963cases and six deaths in Nanded, four deaths and 138 cases in Latur,There were 96 cases and two deaths in Osmanabad, 74 cases and obecdeath in Jalna , 42 cases and one death in Parbhani, 108 cases in Beed and 20 cases in Hingoli district.
