Siliguri, Siliguri police today arrested a couple and seized about 285 grams of brown sugar (narcotics) from them, along with their two-wheeler and Rs 69,000 in cash.The arrest and seizure was made near Matigara while the couple wasracing past to avoid police naka checking.The couple was identified as Md Basiruddin (40) and his wife Mani Sarnakar.
The narcotics were from a Malda consignment, police added.
