A PRACTICAL CRICKETER

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s carieer in cricket is self evident. For a long span of 16years period he was with the team. First being introduced in the National level on 2004 December 23rd at Chittagong he became the captain, widely known as “captain cool”. His predecessor Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly a classic batsman who is at par with the legendary batsman Don Bradman & at present Virat kohli is in the lead who is a successful captain too. This proves or Country is flooded with good, better & best players in different fields. Say, either Cricket or Hockey, or in any other sports, there is no shortage of players. But choosing players from right place in right time is a longing problem. In a populated country like India having around 140crores of people a player should represent the country maximum 3years to give better player a chance to play.

Dhoni’s reign 16years though not a short period, still Mahi(the nick name of Dhoni) expressed his unwillingness to leave IPL. In our Country though shortage of player being never felt, why top batsman use to leave different match in different years should be analysed by BCCI. Earning from IPL seems more like business than play. So, indirectly not only Dhoni, but also many a senior players should not declare good bye to cricket phase by phase blocking other cricketeers fortune in darkness.
