Gangtok, Sikkim Minister for Transport, Building & Housing Sanjeet Kharel’s father T B Kharel died here late last night at the Government hospital.Chief Minister PS Tamang has expressed grief at Kharel’s loss. ‘I am deeply saddened at the demise of Tila Prasad Kharel, father of Minister Sanjeet Kharel. He was one of the first Science teachers of Central Pendam,East Sikkim.In 1979 he joined the Sikkim Revolutionary Congress as Vice-President, playing an active role.
