UP sounds high alert after arrest of ISIS terrorist


Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh police has sounded a high alert in all the 75 districts and Indo-Nepal border after a terrorist was arrested in Delhi along with two IEDs.Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Law and order Prashant Kumar said here on Saturday that DGP has sent an SOS to all the districts and alerted them.”All the field officers have been asked to intensify patrolling and to step up all precautionary measures,” he said.All the bordering districts of Nepal have been asked to be more cautious.The alert was issued after a person suspected to be an ISIS operative was arrested with two Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) in Delhi.The suspected was apprehended late on Friday night after an exchange of fire by the Special Cell from Ridge Road between Dhaula Kuan to Karol Bagh.The suspect has been identified as Abdul Yusuf.
