Lucknow, Taking a dig at Uttar Pradesh’s leap by ten positions in the recently released list of Ease of Doing Business ranking of states, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday said that the Yogi government is patting its back for this ranking in the same way as it claims of investing on missing MOUs.In a tweet, Ms Vadra said, “UP government patting its back on the Ease of Doing Business ranking is the same as making claims of investing on missing MOUs. Industries are shutting down in the state. There are locks on factories, weavers are selling their looms.”She further said, “In reality, there is only ease of doing crime and ease of doing scams here.”The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) had issued the Ease of Doing Business Ranking on the basis of the feedback from entrepreneurs and investors on September 5. In this ranking, Uttar Pradesh got the second position after making an improvement of 10 positions, leaving behind leading states like Gujarat, Telangana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
