Puducherry, All trade unions here on Wednesday held a demonstration in front of the head post office to press their demands.They were demanding among other things, the immediate withdrawal of Code on Industrial relations, the social security code and the code on occupational safety, health and working condition bill passed in the Parliament and protection of public sector undertakings.Their other demands include disbursement of salary for the COVID 19 period, no reduction in pay and retrenchme
Volunteers of the AITUC, CITU, INTUC, AICCTU, LLF, AIUTUC, MLF and among others participated in the demonstration.
