18 New COVID-19 Deaths in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 18 new deaths due to COVID-19 in a single day taking the toll to 958, informed the State Government today.

The fresh deaths were reported from 12 districts in the last 24 hours. While Balasore district recorded the highest of 4 deaths due to COVID-19, 2 each succumbed to the deadly virus in Nayagarh, Puri and Sundargarh districts. One each died of the Coronavirus in Boudh, Deogarh, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Khordha, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh districts yesterday.

Here’re details of new 18 fatalities reported by the State H&FW Department today:

1. A 72-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

2. A 94-year old female of Balasore district

3. A 66-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Typhoid fever.

4. A 70-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

5. A 60-year old male of Boudh district.

6. A 70-year old male of Deogarh district.

7. A 62-year old male of Jajpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

8. A 72-year old male of Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

9. A 62-year old male of Khordha district.

10. A 69-year old female of Koraput district.

11. A 55-year old male of Mayurbhanj district.

12. A 75-year old male of Nayagarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.

13. A 72-year old male of Nayagarh district.

14. A 65-year old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

15. An 82-year old female of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

16. A 40-year old male of Sambalpur district who was also suffering from Diabetes.

17. A 40-year old male of Sundergarh district.

18. A 45-year old female of Sundergarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
