Bhubaneswar: With decline of mercury, Odisha continued to shiver as the minimum temperature plummeted below 15 degree in 17 places in the last 24 hours.
While Sonepur became the coldest town in Odisha with 8.8 degree Celsius followed by Phulbani (9.0 degree C) and Angul (10.0 degree C), Daringibadi recorded the minimum temperature of 10.5 degree C, Bhawanipatna 11.5 degree C, Keonjhar 12.2 degree C, Baripada 12.5 degree C, Talcher 12.3 degree C and Koraput 12.6.
SImilarly, Sundargarh stood at 13.0 degree C, Boudh 14.0 degree C, Balangir 14.0 degree C, Cuttack 14.2 degree C, Titilagarh 14.5 degree C, Chandbali 14.6 degree C and Sambalpur recorded 14.6 degree C yesterday night.
The minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar was 15.0 degree C.
According to Bhubaneswar MeT, the cold weather will continue across the State in next 4-5 days.
