Puducherry, The high command of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will decide on having alliance with N R Congress for the 2021 Assembly election in the Union Territory, party Puducherry Unit President V Saminathan MLA said on Tuesday.It may be noted that leader of the opposition and N R Congress President N Rangasamy had recently stated that the party continues to be in alliance with the AIADMK and BJP.Talking to news persons here, Mr Saminathan said the BJP had already started election work here with the slogan ‘one party rule both at the Centre and in state’ .Party President J P Nadda will be visiting Puducherry by the end of this month. A BJP-AIADMK alliance was finalized in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, he said the party high command only will take a decision whether to admit N R Congress into the fold or not.Mr Saminathan said that an agitation to the maximum was there in Puducherry in the last four-and-a-half year rule of the Congress-DMK government and added that the BJP will resort to a 72-hour continuous agitation in support of all agitating groups.Later, with the slogan ‘pull down the corrupt government’ the party would organize a state-wide procession, the BJP leader added.
