Simdega, Two minor children, who were brother and sister were on Tuesday drowned in a local dam under Kolibera Police Station area of this district. The deceased have been identified as Abhishek Minz (8) and his sister Megan Minz (5). The father of the deceased said early in the morning the children were playing outside the house but later they went towards the dam. The children accidentally went inside the water and started drowning, few men who were near the water took them and rushed the duo to the community health care centre where they were declared dead by the doctors.
