BSF kills one Pak intruder along IB border in Rajasthan

New Delhi: The Border Security Force shot dead a Pakistani intruder along the Indo-Pak international border in Bikaner sector of Rajasthan, officials in the security set up said here on Saturday.

The incident occurred on March 5 around 2000 hrs in the Anupgarh area of Sri Ganganagar-Bikaner belt when an Pakistani intruder was noticed moving in a suspicious manner after crossing the International border near the border fence. The alert BSF troopers challenged him but he continued his movement.

Later, he was shot dead near the border fence by a vigilant BSF trooper, officials further said.

The officials said the body of the intruder was handed over to the local police and a search operation has been carried out.
