Bengaluru, CCB Police have nabbed 20 African nationals, who were staying illegally despite expiry of their VISA and without Passport in the city.Police said on Monday that the arrested also included 3 African nationals indulged in circulating fake currency and other criminal activities. Following complaints about harassment and disturbance by the African nationals staying in Hennur, Bagalur, Kothanur Sampigehalli Police stations limits, the CCB team led by City Police Joint Commissioner Sandeep Patil raided 34 hours and questioned 80 African Nationals. Police said that some of the arrested were over staying even after expiry of VISA and some did not have valid Passport. Cases were booked under various Acts and further investigation is in progress.
