Delhi-Pondy weekly superfast express to resume from Jul 11

Puducherry: The daily weekly superfast express from Delhi to Puducherry will resume from July 11.

Southern Railway (SR) sources on Sunday said, following giving more relaxations while extending the lockdown till July 15 in the Union Territory, the train services from Puducherry started resuming in a phased manner.

Presently, two trains are being operated daily to Chennai, besides the weekly express trains to Dadar, Howrah, Bhubaneswar and Mangalore were being run. Now the weekly service between Delhi and Puducherry will resume from July 11.

The superfast Express will start from Delhi at 2315 hours on July 11 and after having halts at Mathura, Agra, Jhansi, Bhopal, Nagpur, Warangal, Vijayawada and Chennai Egmore it will reach Puducherry at 1315 hours on July 13.

The superfast Express will leave Puducherry at 0950 hours on July 14 and will reach Delhi around the midnight of July 17, the sources added.
