Bhubaneswar: Coronavirus claimed life of a frontline COVID warrior as a doctor succumbed to the deadly virus at KIMS COVID Hospital in Odisha capital. The deceased has been identified as Dr. B Krisha. He was the superintendent in-charge of Bhatakumarguda community health centre in Puruhsottampur block of Ganjam district. According to reports, the doctor’s swab sample was collected for COVID-19 test on August 4 after he complained of sickness. He was later admitted to the hospital on August 5 as he tested positive for the virus. He breathed his last around 3 am today while undergoing treatment at the COVID hospital. A pall of gloom descended on Bhatakumarguda area after his demise.
