GANDHI: NATION’S LIGHT

Mahatma Gandhi is a familiar name in our Country. Even throughout the World in each country some people knew Gandhi & his philosophy, that is non-violence & satyagraha. 151 yrs back Gandhi took birth as the son of a the-then-dewan’s fourth wife who got married at a tender age of 13yrs only to Kasturi bai. Gandhi had been to London in order to study law where he admitted in Inner Temple Collage on September 1888. His foreign study was vehemently opposed by his Mother Putuli bai for which he took an oath not to take wine, women & meat. After became a lawyer he began his career in South Africa where racism was rampart against which he fought too. After returning back to Mother Land, for Independence he dedicated his life all through. Even just after getting Independence, the man “Gandhiji” who turned as an Institution was being killed in a prayer meeting & the-then Prime Minister Panddit Jawaharlal Nehru told the Nation that “the light has gone out for ever”. Gandhi, through non-violence could able to bring Independence which is unique itself. This man cum Institution who took birth on 2nd October 1869 breathed his last on 30th January 1948 became “The Father of The Nation”; Who is a path finder for the future generation of India & the World.
