Kolkata, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today said that at 6.30 pm “ghee diyas” will be lit at Raj Bhavan to celebrate Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan.
In a Twitter message in Hindi and English, Mr Dhankhar said, ‘At 6.30 PM today at Raj Bhawan will celebrate historic day
‘Long wait over-thanks to historic judicial verdict,’ he said referring to the Supreme Court verdict ten months ago that brought the curtains down to one of the longest-running legal battles in independent India.
Taking a dig at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s “appeasement silence stance” the governor further tweeted, ‘Appeasement Silence Stance @MamataOfficial resonates. Ram Sita in our Constitution.’
