Lebanon’s COVID-19 cases increase by 182 to 4,202

BEIRUT,Lebanon’s number of COVID-19 infections increased by 182 cases to 4,202 while the death toll went up by one to 55, the National News Agency reported. The Middle East Airlines announced on Wednesday that Lebanon will not allow the entry of any arrival from a foreign country without having done the PCR test in the country of departure. Lebanon has seen an increase in the daily number of COVID-19 infections. Health Minister Hamad Hassan announced earlier this month that the source of 20 percent of the cases is unknown. Lebanon has been fighting against COVID-19 since Feb. 21. The country has received several donations from different countries for the fight against COVID-19 including China which offered 17,500 masks, 1,500 protective gears, 1,320 goggles and 1,000 shoes covers to Lebanese public hospitals last month.
