Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal around August 4, under the influence of which Odisha would witness rainfall activity from August 3, the Regional Meteorological Centre said.
The Meteorological Centre has also issued thunderstorm/heavy rainfall warning for several districts till August 4.
Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bolangir, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Boudh.
