Modi govt ‘missing’ as COVID cases cross 20 lakh: Rahul

New Delhi, Attacking the NDA government over India’s COVID-19 tally crossing the 20 lakh mark, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday said that the Modi government is ‘missing’ in a time of crisis. The Congress leader said in a social media post, ”the figure of 20 lakh has been crossed. But the Modi government is missing.” The total number of Coronavirus cases in the country reached 20,27,075 on Friday after recording its highest single-day spike of 62,538 fresh cases in the past 24 hrs. Rahul Gandhi also shared his tweet from the last week, in which he had predicted that the number of COVID cases in the country would cross the 20 lakh mark by August 10. He had called on the NDA government to take proactive steps to check the spread of the virus.
