Paralakhemundi: A newborn girl was found abandoned in a bush near Chha Maili under Paralakhemundi police limits in Gajapati district today. As per sources, some locals first spotted the baby in the bush and immediately called up police. The cops rushed to the spot, rescued the newborn and admitted her to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) here. Her condition is stated to be stable.Meanwhile, several couples in the locality have expressed their willingness to adopt the baby.
