Bhubaneswar: The Winter Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA) will begin today.
As decided in the all-party meeting held earlier on November 18, the House will run for four-and-a-half hours in adherence to all COVID-19 protocols. Interim Budget will be tabled in the House on the first day of the fifth session today. Besides, five bills will be introduced and three ordinances will be laid before the House.
Today, the House will be adjourned for the first half or for the entire day after obituary references for former Speaker late Sarat Kar and some ex-members police personnel. While sitting arrangements have been made in view of the COVID-19 guidelines, senior MLAs will have the option to join the House through video conference.
