Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced postponement of all board examinations in the state, including the Matric examinations (Class-10 exams) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and +2 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
“The CHSE and the state government will review the situation in the first week of June regarding conduct of the exams. Adequate time will be given to the students for the examinations,” a release of the Chief Minister’s Office said.
Similarly, decision regarding the conduct of Matric examinations will be taken after improvement in the COVID-19 situation, the release added.
