Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 17 new deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 924. The fresh deaths were reported from 10 districts in the last 24 hours. While 3 each died of COVID-19 in Cuttack and Puri districts, 2 each succumbed to the deadly virus in Balasore, Boudh and Khordha districts. The virus claimed remaining 5 lives (one each) in Angul, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur, Rayagada and Sundargarh districts.
Here’re the details of 17 new fatalities shared by the State H&FW Department:
1. A 40-year old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
2. A 58-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
3. A 25-year old male of Balasore.
4. A 78-year old male of Bhubaneswar.
5. A 60-year old male of Bhubaneswar.
