Puducherry: A 46-year-old PWD worker died after consuming sanitizer at Nellithope here. According to police, the deceased Natarajan was a liquor addict and could not get liquor because of the lockdown.
On Sunday night, he mixed water with sanitizer and consumed it. As he fell sick, he was admitted to the hospital where he died.
Hearing his death, Natarajan’s father Munusamy also died on Monday evening.
