Mangaluru: Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport have seized gold worth about Rs 25 lakh hidden inside the heating element of an electric rice cooker. Officials said on Friday that the passenger had arrived by an Air India Express flight from Dubai last night. The arrested was identified as Sumesh of Kasargod. A case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
