Mumbai, The BSE Sensex on Friday slipped by 84 pts to open at 37,951.07 on profit booking by local operators at higher level. The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too fell by 14 pts to 11,186.65. The sectoral indices include Finance, IT, Bankex and Technology stocks were seen negative in early trade.The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 38,044.17 and 37,787.38 pts respectively. The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 11,213.80 and 11,142.05. respectively. The Mid Cap moved up by 0.83 pc and Small Cap by 0.85 pc. In 30 scrips, 19 advanced, 10 declined and one remained unchanged. The losers were HCL Technologies by 1.46 pc to Rs 694.90, Infosys by 1.06 pc to Rs 958.95, Sun Pharma by 0.84 pc to Rs 527.75, ICICI Bank by 0.86 pc to Rs 356.05 and HDFC Bank by 0.74 pc to Rs 1032.80. The gainers were Maruti Suzuki by 1.81 pc to Rs 6677.65, ONGC by 1.54 pc to Rs 79.15, Tata Steel by 1.19 pc to Rs 405.30 and Bajaj Finserv by 0.97 pc to Rs 6354.
