Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today launched a single emergency helpline number ‘112’ to provide all kind of assistance by the police to the public.
With this, people in the state will more need to dial different numbers for emergency services of police, ambulance, fire brigade and women helpline. The helpline number will function soon. Single helpline ‘112’ will provide all the emergency services by police.
Besides, the Government also approved creation of 1098 posts in police department for provision of the fast services.
