Robbers rob jeweller at knife-point

Nanded, Three unidentified armed robbers allegedly assaulted a jeweller and escaped with gold and silver ornaments, along with Rs 25,000 in cash from a customer, in Dattanagar area of the city. On Wednesday afternoon, three unidentified armed robbers came on a motorcycle to Sri Swami Samarth Jewellers, located in front of Pochamma temple in Datta Nagar near Annabhau Sathe Chowk, shut down the shutter and threatened to kill the owner and the customer at a knife-point, police said,. They assaulted the owner and robbed all gold and silver ornaments from the shop along with Rs 25,000 from the customer.  On getting information, a police team rushed to the spot and admitted the injured  Mukteshwar Sahani to a private hospital for treatment. Police are scouring through close circuit TV camera footage to identif and arrest the robbers, who had covered their faces with a scarf ,
