Puducherry: As many as 2,913 candidates will be appearing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) All India Civil Service (preliminary) examination here on Sunday. The examination will be held in the morning and afternoon sessions. The forenoon session is from 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM and the afternoon session from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM. It is being held in eight centres. The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination. Special buses were being operated from the new bus stand to the examination venues for the benefit of the candidates. The special bus service will be available for their return to the new bus stand also. Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
